About Visakhapatnam :
- Visakhapatnam is 163-metre-long vessel and weighs approximately 3000 tons and is entirely made of Indian steel.
- It can have maximum speed of over 30 knots at a displacement of approximately 7300 tons, it is propelled by four gas turbines.
- It has many modern weapons like advance Action Information System (AIS), Integrated Platform Management system (IPMS), sophisticated Power Distribution System (PDS) and a Combat Management System.
- Israeli Multi-Function Surveillance Threat Alert Radar (MF-STAR) is also a part of this which will help it in targeting information to 32 Barak 8 long-range surface-to-air missiles on board the warship.
- Visakhapatnam will be having 8 BrahMos missiles on it.
- Apart from this it also have four 30 mm rapid-fire guns and a MR gun for naval gunfire support.

- The list includes four Indian-origin persons namely Chanda Kochhar, Vikram Patel, co-founder of the NGO Sangath, Managing Director and CEO of ICICI Bank, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
