Scientists discovered Atomic oxygen at Mars
As a manjor space news, For the first time Scientists have discovered atomic oxygen in atmosphere of Mars. Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) helped in its detection.
This project is being stated by NASA and German Aerospace Centre jointly.
Indian-origin man Murali Pillai elected to Singapore Parliament
· An Indian-origin man from the Singapore's ruling People's Action Party (PAP) was today elected as Member of the Parliament following his victory in the by-election held at suburban Bukit Batok constituency.
· Murali Pillai garnered 61.21 per cent of the votes, while Singapore Democratic Party's Chee Soon Juan got 38.79 per cent of votes. Chee, a vociferous opposition leader, had challenged the ruling party in the one-on-one contest.
· PAP, led by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, has absolute majority in the house.
