Mumbai Indians won IPL 2015.
- Mumbai Indians (MI) won the eighth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
- In the final match Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 41-runs at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
- Mumbai Indians won the title for the second time this year after 2013.
"John Forbes Nash Jr." Nobel Awardee mathematician passed away.
- Oscar-winning film, A Beautiful Mind was inspired by his life.

"Manoj Mishra" appointed as CMD of National Fertilizers Limited.
- Mishra is currently serving as the Director (Finance) at State Trading Corporation (STC).
- He worked for 23 years after beginning his career from fertiliser company Kribhco.
- NFL has five gas-based urea plants, two plants at Vijaipur in District Gunaat, Madhya Pradesh, Panipat in Haryana and Nangal & Bathinda in Punjab.
- The company is the second largest producer of urea in the country
